It all began with a shoot-your-shot kind of message, after a few professional exchanges on LinkedIn of all places.

“Here’s my number if you’re ever out and about OR email me if you want to schedule a meeting.”

A few months later, after plenty of near misses, Aby finally sent the text.

“I’m out and about…”

That night turned into rain-soaked dancing and an all-night conversation that felt effortless and magical. From that moment, we knew this wasn’t chance—it was the beginning of our love story. And we’re so grateful it’s brought us here, with all of you.

Naturally, according to Aldo, they were official from that memorable night on May 3rd.

However, Abigail insisted on a proper “Will you be my girlfriend?” proposal and flowers.

Aldo was ready to deliver on July 13th, but as luck would have it, things didn’t become official until July 23rd, 2019.

Truth is, we’ve been inseparable since that very first night.

Aby: Without giving too much away (saving some for my vows), this part was easy. I found my match: A tall, handsome man who quickly became my best friend. He embraced my crazy family, encouraged my spontaneous singing and performances, shared my love of food and cocktails, and never left me alone on the dance floor. Loving him has always felt effortless.

Aldo: From the start, I knew I found my person. She made me laugh, challenged me, and never let life get too serious. She became my safe place, my partner in crime, the woman I want to spend the rest of my life with.

Call us crazy, but after months of working from home together in a one-bedroom apartment, with our cat and a kitchen island as our “desk,” buying a house less than a year into dating sounded like a great idea!

Seriously, from the very beginning, we knew we wanted to build a life together. Our vision for the future aligned, and being each other’s biggest cheerleaders through personal growth, career moves, and even scary firsts (like buying a house) just felt natural.

That first home gave us countless memories, with friends and family, and a glimpse of the life we were building together. We had officially started creating our home.

In 2023, Gianna, with her big beautiful eyes and sweet soul, entered our lives.

From that moment on, everything changed. She made our love stronger, braver, and more vulnerable, reminding us that we had found something rare and true.

She also gave us a deeper appreciation for who we are as individuals, a quiet admiration for who we are as parents, a willingness to walk through the hard moments together, and the comforting certainty that we chose the right person to build a life with.

The day is almost here. December 13th will be one of our greatest milestones, the day we become husband and wife.
